Does Iframely process personal data?
Iframely does not collect or share any personal data about the end users. As a result, we do not act as a data controller or data processor, and we do not use any subprocessors.
How the API works
Iframely is an API product. Your systems receive URL input from users and send it to our endpoints. Our API returns structured data for publicly available URLs. If a URL is private or access-restricted, we return an error.
We do not receive or store any personally identifiable information such as IP addresses, cookies, or user tokens. Our front-end infrastructure is explicitly configured not to forward this kind of data to our back-end.
Data retention and privacy commitments
We do not access or retain any private data, and we do not pass it to any third parties.
We temporarily keep public URL data internally for caching purposes. Cache duration is up to 30 days, and entries are automatically expired if not reaccessed. Usage analytics and billing data are based on one-way hashes and are rotated monthly.
We also offer custom general or service-level agreements for enterprise customers, where we reiterate our commitments and can address specific privacy requirements if needed.
