Why Iframely doesn’t support Facebook profile pages embedding

At Iframely, we support a wide range of Facebook URLs, including public posts and pages. However, Facebook itself does not support embedding of individual user profiles due to its privacy policy. Registered Iframely users will get a summary card for such URLs. Our public Try URL tool does cover any summary cards for Facebook.

Facebook profiles are designed for personal use and come with privacy settings that restrict content visibility outside the Facebook platform. This means that content shared on personal profiles, unlike public pages, cannot be embedded or shared externally. These restrictions apply regardless of Iframely’s technical capabilities, as Facebook’s policies prevent third-party tools from accessing and displaying this content.
