Adjusting Facebook embeds to use full width
By default, Iframely wraps Facebook embeds in an iframe. This helps Facebook content resize properly based on the user’s screen size, as Facebook embeds aren’t very JavaScript-friendly out of the box.
If you prefer to use native Facebook embeds without Iframely's iframe, you can enable the option to skip Iframely’s resize patch. This allows Facebook embeds to use 100% of the available width on your page - here’s how to do it.
- Open your Iframely settings.
- Go to the "Fine-tune providers" section.
- Check the option "For Facebook, skip Iframely's resize patch and use
width="auto"instead" and save your changes.
Once this is done, Facebook embeds will use the full available width of their container. Please note, because Facebook's native embeds are fixed-width by default, some posts may not resize well on larger screens.
